Two articles reflecting the project objectives, with the aim to reach different target audiences are being prepared and will be published in Polish media.
Electromobility is just a tip of the iceberg is planned to be published in BiznesAlert. The article reflects directly to the latest regulatory amendments in Poland (from June 2018) which led to creation of The Fund for Low-emission Transport in Poland. The new financial instrument will support electromobility in Poland. In the article we argue that low-emission mobility is much more than the electromobility. We reflect on the costs of urban sprawl and regulatory risks for the car industry. Furthermore, inspiring solutions from Essen, Gdynia and Białystok for sustainable mobility planning, the multimodality and intermodality concepts as well as other sustainable mobility measures are presented.
The article presenting our experiences from the city of Sztum is going to be published in September on the internet platform Więcej niż energia. Energetyka obywatelska. The text shows how the positive results of the bilateral cooperation between Sztum and Ritterhude in the framework of the project. The case of Sztum is shown in the broader context of the recently launched nationwide program Clean Air, which aims to encourage homeowners and assist residents of cities to invest in modern heating systems to substitute the coal furnaces in their homes which contribute substantially to high levels of smog in Poland.
